Sad. Just sad,

There were other ways to go about this one. Yes, GMA probably is guilty but we can't do anything about it anyway. Yes, there are a lot of poor (or poorer) people in this country, and all of us have grievances, but this is not the way to go. There were other ways. A whole lot of other ways.

This is obviously a work of a bitter and desperate man. We need change, yes. But going through change by basically "hostaging" a hotel, with a swarm of innocent people inside? If you're really concerned about all this, you, a public servant, and a former soldier at that, should be the first to know that civilians SHOULD NEVER be caught in the middle of this.

Those are really genuine issues. We all know that. But honestly, you have lost my respect Trillanes. Its the same old s***. If you want something like this to happen, please let other people do it for you. Please. You're not credible anymore. (2003 != 2007).

Sen. Trillanes, you are disappointing. Really, you are. You did not just put those hotel guests in danger, you put this country on the spot for the wrong reasons AGAIN.

Sad. Just very sad.

Peace out.

Of Defenses and Ferraris

Unbelievable. So thats the difference from a normal defense and a thesis defense. Thinking you're calm and all, then when your part comes, nothing is coming out of your mouth. All of a sudden, butterflies the size of eagles circle around your stomach before every word that you're about to say. While all of this is happening, you see the panelists scribbling a lot of stuff in your paper like its a minute before lunch break. You start feeling sweaty, cold and clammy. Negative thoughts start to flash around your head. You start to really feel nervous not only for you but for your groupmates as well. Then you hear a bashing of a lifetime. "You should've done this", "you should've written it this or that way" is all you're going to hear for the next few minutes. The few became many, and the many became almost forever.

Then they'll tell you to leave for a moment. Breaking point happens. You can't even breathe. You think of all the screw ups you did in the pesentation. You start blaming yourself for the possible outcome. You feel restless. Breathless. Distraught. Lost out of your wits. Tension becomes unbearable.

Then they call you back inside the room. Judgment time. If you pass or fail, its all in their hands. You feel scared for yourself. You can't do anything anymore.

Then you release everything. You become you again. You are relieved. The baggage is gone. Everything is easy again. Everything is NORMAL again.

All of this happened to me at 8 in the morning. Oh by the way, we got a 2.5 (plus revisions). Of to the last phase. Yeah! Thank You Lord!

Then, while I was at the buendia intersection near the World Trade Center on the way home, I was crossing the intersection from CCP when I saw this very, very beautiful car. I instantly thought "this car looks familiar". Then it hits me. The color is unmistakable. A beautiful, shiny scarlet car. Then I get my confirmation. I see the Prancing Horse logo on the side panel. Holy crap. A freakin' Ferrari at buendia?!

Yup, it was a Ferrari. A Ferrari F430 Scuderia. Wow. Words will not give justice to the beauty of that car. Wow. WOW. Of course I have to give respect. And giving respect means stopping at the middle of the intersection to let the Ferrari pass (yes, I really did that). He starts off slowly, trying to feel the road. The driver even had the hazard signal on. Then he drops the signal, and unleashes (repeat: UNLEASHES) the true power of that engine. Grabe yung makina nung hinataw na niya. WOW. Amen. GInawang race track ang Macapagal blvd. Traffic pa yun. Slow moving ,pero traffic pa rin. That is a b-e-a-utiful engine. The revs were awesome, to say the least. Now THAT, is an experience.

Buzzkiller is there was a police officer (yes, a POLICE OFFICER), maybe a Superintendent who cares, that was sitting in the passenger seat. Plus a police escort behind them (not really sure if it was with the Ferrari guys). But still. Unbelievable. WOW.

If only days like this can happen everyday. Wow. What a day.

Peace out!

Tama yan...

For 2 idiots to kill each other inside a computer lab. Box each other's brains off. Its no longer "Be Like Mike", its "Be Like Tito Ortiz". Sayang d ko nakunan ng video.

After waiting for my adrenaline to wear off, and seeing the beaten up guy get a busted up nose, I have four words for the "winner": you are so stupid.

Its one thing to have beef against someone. Its another thing to take your s*** outside, you know what I'm saying. But its a completely different thing to beat up, choke and grip the "other" guy's face INSIDE A COMPUTER LAB WITH MORE THAN 30 PEOPLE INSIDE. You are the biggest joke in the history of forever. Feeling mo angas ka? D ka angas chong, bobo ka. BOBO. B-O-B-O. Strap your seatbelt on buddy. Its going to be a long, bumpy ride.

I'm not judging anyone because I don't know (and don't care) what happened between the two of them. What I'm saying is, you don't beat up someone INSIDE THE FREAKIN' SCHOOL.There surely was another way of settling your beef. But then, this is CSB. Anything is possible.

Peace out!

P.S. Pag nakachamba ako, kukunan ko ung bloodstains sa sahig. Kung meron pa.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

Sagittarius: It's time to cut someone out of your life. It will be sad and painful, but they are doing you no good and you can't let them continue to hurt you..
Vincent Earl Ramos's

Problem is, who to cut.

Anyway, back to thesis. :D
