MEMORIES OF DAYS GONE BY
First off, I haven't logged in a very, very long time. And since I'm in a writing mood tonight, I don't know what's gonna happen. Anyway, not a lot has happened, although there were some things that did happen. And oh yes, there are reasons why I named this entry the way I did.
First, congratulations to all the ST people I know that will be marching down this october. You guys deserve it. Its just sad that you had to finish school first. Oh well, my time will come. Anyway, savor the moment guys. Again, my congratulations.
I feel I've been losing my mental edge lately. Its feels so dull, not as sharp as it used to be. I don't know, is it because of prolonged laziness? I certainly hope not.
Now that the ST people are graduating, what will happen to s15? Memories of days gone by? Exactly. How I long for those happy days in 2003.
Its been 5 years since that fateful day on September 11, 2001. I remember the highlights of that day vividly. I was at home doing my algebra homework while watching ANC. At first, I didn't know what was going on, and how heavy, due to lack of a better term, that situation was. In all, 2976 people perished in the attacks at the WTC, Pentagon and United 93. Don't worry, 5 years. I remember. I always will.
In other things, my cousins Genina and liezel left earlier this morning for a study furlough at China. Even though we don't see each other quite often, not a moment passes without a thought of either of them crossing my mind. They are 2 of my closest cousins and friends. Well, I hope they'll enjoy their 6 month(?) stay. Study hard and enjoy. I'll see the both of you next year. Keep in touch.
I was not expecting to be in the Dean's list last term, but due to a stroke of luck, which came up a little short, I ended up with a 2.7 gpa. Not bad, but could've done better. This is the "losing my edge" thing I was talking about earlier. You'll get the picture. 49 units 'til graduation. 49 units. Almost there. If I have to drag my brain to the finish line, I will. I just want to end this already.
Heard that Michael Schumacher is going to retire at the end of the season. I'm happy and sad. Happy because I wouldn't have to see his greedy face again. Sad because I was once a fan. He was a fantastic driver indeed. Oh well, wish him all the best.
Lastly, what the hell is all the fanfare about batista about? Obviously all these people [especially kids] don't know sh*t about wrestling. Proud that he's filipino? Help your country first. I used to like this guy, although he has limited moves, he still can bring it. But now, he's just like any other wrestler: fat, rich, lazy and happy. That's right. Wrestling today is NOTHING compared to wrestling in the 90's. Man, I miss the attitude era. Memories of days gone by [again].
I know my thoughts on this entry are not really concise due to the loss of edge in my part. I hope I'll snap out of this.
And its getting too long.
Peace out!
