SAD, SO SAD
For sure everyone now knows what happened at the wowowee anniversary show early this morning. Its all over the news, anyway. I'm not a big abs-cbn fan, even worse a wowowee fan, or worst, a willie revillame fan, but its a really sad thing to see a tragedy happen like that. If I were the abs-cbn executives, I would not give away those ridiculously high prizes. Imagine, you will (not can, because all the bayongs have a specific prize, get the idea?) win a taxi, or a jeepney, a million bucks or a house and lot even.

There's nothing wrong with giving away prizes, just do it in moderation. Are you really giving away those huge, through the roof prizes to help the needy? Or you're just doing it for the ratings? I don't know, no sense to pass judgment here. This is really sad. What I don't get is the staff of abs-cbn and the ULTRA don't even have an emergency plan for accidents like this. For huge amounts of people in that kind of show? That's a big no-no.

I hope all parties will learn a lesson in this incident. It is a bitter pill, but it has to be swallowed. Sometimes, reality bites. It just does.
